Gillespie’s Personal Assistant
Airbnb and Vacation Rental Support in Las Vegas
If you own here but live somewhere else, the gap is simple: nobody is on the ground. Guest handovers, airport pickups, turnover checks and someone who can actually get to the property.

Support, Not a Management Company
Being straight about scope: I am not a property management firm. I do not take over your listing, set your pricing, handle your bookings or take a percentage of your revenue, and I am not a licensed property manager.
What I am is a reliable local who can be at your property. For most absentee owners that is the actual missing piece: the guest arriving at 11pm, the cleaner who did not show, the AC that failed in July while you are three time zones away.
I’m Daniel Gillespie, 38 years in this valley. Note that short-term rental rules in Clark County and the City of Las Vegas are strict and change often. Licensing and compliance are your responsibility as the owner, not something I handle.
What I Handle
Guest meet and greet
Meeting renters to hand over keys and collect them at the end. For higher-value properties, a person at the door reads very differently from a lockbox code.
Airport pickup and drop off
Collecting guests from Harry Reid and getting them to the property, as part of the booking rather than as a separate car service.
Turnover checks
Walking the property between guests. Confirming the clean actually happened, appliances are off or turned down, and nothing is damaged or missing.
Vendor access
Letting in cleaners, pool service, landscapers and repairs, and being there while they work rather than leaving a key under a pot.
Restocking and small fixes
Supplies topped up between stays, a replacement bought when something breaks, and the small problems dealt with before they become a one-star review.
Checks between bookings
Inspections while the property sits empty, so a leak or a failed AC unit is found in days rather than at the next check-in.
How Pricing Works
Vacation rental work is quoted per service rather than taken as a percentage of your revenue. Tell me about the property and what you need and I’ll call you back with a quote.
If the property is your own second home rather than a rental, home watch is usually the better fit. For larger estates with regular staff and vendors, see estate management. Guests arriving with pets, or your own pets on site, are covered under pet sitting.
Common Questions
Do you manage the listing and the bookings?
No. I do not run your listing, set pricing, message guests on your behalf or take a percentage of revenue, and I am not a licensed property manager. I am the person on the ground: handovers, checks, vendor access and problems at the property itself.
How much does it cost?
Every job is quoted personally, depending on what it involves and how often you need it. It is priced per service, not as a cut of your booking revenue. Send the details through the contact form and I will call you back with a quote.
Can you handle short-term rental licensing?
No. Short-term rental rules in Clark County and the City of Las Vegas are strict and change regularly, and licensing and compliance are the owner’s responsibility. Check the current rules for your specific address with the relevant authority before listing.
What happens if something breaks mid-stay?
I can get to the property, see what has actually happened rather than relying on a guest’s description, and let a repair company in. For anything involving cost I will check with you first unless you have told me in advance what I can authorise.
Which areas do you cover?
Las Vegas, Henderson and Summerlin, including The Ridges, Ascaya and MacDonald Highlands.
